Posted in: Motherhood Photography, Tips

When you’re preparing for a motherhood session with your baby, there are plenty of things to consider. One important factor is styling. What colors and textures will work best? How can you create an eye-catching look that captures your unique style? Today, we’ll be exploring the various options available to help create the perfect image!

7 Styling tips for the Perfect Motherhood Photoshoot

Bodysuits are an easy and stylish way to show off your best angles. With their flattering fit, they look amazing in any pose – whether you’re rocking a classic style or something more daring! Plus, who doesn’t love the idea of showing just enough skin? Bodysuits have got it down for whatever your heart desires!

Linen shirt or off-the shoulder dress

For my motherhood portrait sessions, I always love opting for a breezy white linen blouse or an effortless oversized cotton shirt. This timeless yet chic look really gives the photos that extra touch of laidback elegance – especially when you style it with one shoulder showing!

Oversized sweater or cardigan

An oversized sweater is a great way to add warmth and coziness to the shoot. Off-the-shoulder style or asymmetrical lines will add interest and texture to your motherhood photos.

Jeans are an essential part of casual fashion-inspired motherhood photography! To get the perfect look, try and avoid tight skinny jeans… opt instead for relaxed fits with plenty of rips or distress detailing. They photograph brilliantly while still being amazingly comfortable – no matter whether you’re reclining on the floor or sitting upright in a chair!

Black gown or dress

Elegance has never been more timeless! With classic fitted black gowns or sharp blazers and pants – they’ll look so exquisite it’s sure to be seen on walls for years (and generations) to come.

Matching Outfits

Matching outfits are another popular option when prepping for a motherhood session with your baby. You can opt for matching colors that complement each other well or go all out with matching prints and patterns! Whatever style you choose, this is sure to create a cohesive look that ties together both mommy and baby in one stunning image.

A Splash of Color

If you want to add some color to your motherhood photography session, try wearing a bright dress or top. This is an easy way to spruce up your look without overwhelming it. A simple dress in a jewel-toned hue such as emerald green or ruby red can really make the image pop! Floral patterns are also a wonderful way to style your session.

Motherhood photography sessions are special occasions that should be remembered forever – make sure yours stands out by taking time preparing yourself beforehand through proper styling techniques! From classic black gowns to vibrant dresses and warm sweaters; there’s no limit as to how creative you can get when creating looks that represent who you are as a mother perfectly! With these tips in mind, go ahead and have fun putting together outfits that showcase not only yourself but also those around you during this unique moment in life – don’t forget about accessories either; small details like jewelry pieces can really bring an ensemble together perfectly! Good luck!
