I’m a maternity photographer with an eye for fashion. When I got started back in 2012, my goal was to create something unique: a style that incorporated the best of portraiture and couture, giving everyday women magazine-worthy photos all their own.
My aesthetic is one of minimalism – because nothing compares to feeling out emotion through simple clarity! That’s what inspires me most; watching mamas feel empowered and beautiful as they journey into motherhood through the lens. Every woman has her story—and it’s up to us photographers to capture them at every stage so she can remember how amazing those moments were!
Here is one of the latest photoshoots with Nikki. She traveled from Washington for her maternity shoot and I wanted to give her a Vanity Fair-style experience. The dress she is wearing was sewn by me just the night before our shoot. I was so excited to see all my ideas come together so perfectly.
