Maternity Experience

At Lola Melani Photography our goal is to create a truly unique experience, an unforgettable day of pampering, in which the mother-to-be feels comfortable, relaxed, beautiful, and empowered from the moment she enters our gorgeous Chelsea studio. We want every woman to feel glamorous and sexy during the process, just like a celebrity. There is nothing like having your hair blown by a fan,  silk fabrics wrapping your body, hugging and embracing your baby bump, having a team of glam artist adjusting your hair and makeup and making sure you look perfect to every little detail. Truly a goddess experience!

We provide our clients with a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere at our private studio. Creating a spa-like ambience with soft relaxed music, candles, dim lighting, silk robes..  engaging all 5 senses – a key to a beautiful and successful photo shoot.

Here are some of the portraits taken during Ashley Nicole’s maternity session. She flew in form Miami for her experience and wanted to capture striking editorial style photographs. During an hour and a half session we explored eight different studio set ups with various backdrops and lighting to create a gorgeous variety of images for this stunning client.
